During 30 years, I have been living in the country- side area in the Ella valley, near Jerusalem.
The area is full of history and stories of the Bible. The area is green and beautiful.
Between mountains and valleys, between vineyards and olive trees, and there are many villages populated with Jews from many countries mainly what we call "Sepharadis": Those who came from Morocco, Tunis, Kurdistan, Iraq, Cochin, India etc.
Over time, the regional establishment and the residents of the villages have become aware of the great value of this tradition and today there is a tendency to preserve it.
The preservation of customs, old music, Handicrafts, and foods which are related to each ethnic group.
An heritage museum was established which is intended to document the variety of information, and it is possible to visit the homes of kind hearted residents who provide a warm hospitality.
